The focal point of the road at the dead center of the piece drags your gaze across the mountain range above, to the bright streaks of the sun highlighting the clouds just behind the peaks. The accent of snow gives the dark feeling of the empty road leading up to the mountain a sense of relief to finally have found a place to feel belonging; like you're in darkness but the light you were looking for is right there.

Queen Elizabeth II reigned 70 years on the throne and it is very sad for the Europeans to experience the death of their ruler. This photo was taken by Ben Stansall and the angle this shot was taken is at the front of her coffin, with men dressed in their navy blue uniforms. The blue overpowers the red accents throughout, although it gives the eye something to catch onto.

The uniform way the triangular wedges are perfectly spaced gives this piece symmetry and can easily follow the line of sight. The arches above head are evenly spaced directly on the aisle below, the constant and re-occurring shape of the admirable half-domes and slices conjoining at the center of the meeting hall in the bottom right hand corner give the feeling of serious or a very business type of style.

Back when Neil Armstrong was alive, it's hard to believe that the moon landing was possible or if it was even real. Some photos look realistically challenged, others more believable. The way the flag is moving but without wind on the moon gives the photo a fake look, but it gives definition of the colors to the comparison of the black and white color scheme going on around the symbolic figure.

When the fog becomes the setting, it either gives the piece a spooky or a sense of adventure type of feeling. For this piece, with the silhouette of the man with a backpack gives off a sense of adventure; exploring new places or re-visiting old ones, there always is somewhere to go. the way the man is facing the light source causing him to seem like a single dark figure contrasts with the misty background.

When someone is saying they're going to go on a trip or they want to go "travel the world", they think of going across seas. Most people use cars but a faster way to travel is easily a couple full tanks of gas worth it; a plane. Whether it's starting a new life or getting away from life to be happy, most everyone starts with a plane. The gentle dot of sunlight just on the horizon draws your attention to the plane wing on the lefthand side.

His jacket blends in with the background well enough you can't see his right arm draped across the sofa, let alone see the sofa much. The different use of colors with the white floor gives his shoes the illusion of the only thing visibly popping from the walls.

The color of the flowers with the dark chocolate of the girl's hair and eyes give her the sensation of mystery and fantasy. Her gaze rests on the sights of the camera and stares into your soul, the way her top trap can be seen on her shoulder gives slight contrast to the orange.
